Thirsty Thursday Resource!

It's Thirsty Thursday! We're gonna quench your thirst for RAVALA knowledge!

Don't know how many of you get to see Library Journal - I just got to see the June 15 issue (I must be kind of low on the distribution list) which has an interesting article on Readers Advisory titled "The RA Tool Kit."

It's an article that's chock full of Readers Advisory resources and websites. In fact, it's so comprehensive that I think we should just go there and end this interest group (just kidding, folks).

Lucky for us in this electronic world we can use the Internets and Googles to find this article online, so here's the link for those who didn't get to see it: The RA Tool Kit

Take a look and share your thoughts with us so we may drink of your knowledge on this Thirsty Thursday.

Hi Andrew!
June isn't tooooooo late--at least you get it! I'm not on the list at all, so I appreciate you sharing this great article with the group!
It'll be very helpful!
Thanks again!

Since it's Thirsty Thursday, I'm heading out to raise a glass to this latest bit of very helpful information.

This was really helpful. i especially like the list from the Independent Book Sellers -"BookSense Picks." It's great to find titles that are different and from first time authors.

So, I'm late! It's Friday, but I was busy having my Early Birds book club on Thursday. They had some great titles they had been reading, including "On Paradise Drive" by David Brooks. Andrew, the article was very helpful. I've added some of the sites to my "favs" list.

Also Friday...Andrew, oh fearless leader, YOU ROCK!!! This is a fabulously helpful article and I, too, put several of the links into my favorites. I wasn't even aware that there was so much out there! What an uninformed Librarian I am...I feel smarter already, though, knowing that there is help out there! Thanks a BUNCH for sending this our way.

Do try earlybird.com which is mentioned in the article as it also has a section featuring books into movies! Good VA resource!
